Shopify

Connect your Shopify store to let Orbitr agents optimize product pages, collections, and store content directly through your storefront.

Overview

For Shopify merchants, organic search is one of the highest-ROI traffic channels — and one of the most overlooked. Connecting your Shopify store gives Orbitr agents direct access to your storefront so they can audit product pages, optimize metadata, improve collection page content, and publish SEO improvements without requiring you to manually edit each page.

Orbitr understands Shopify's content structure natively. Agents can work with product descriptions, collection pages, blog posts, and theme content — applying improvements at scale across your entire catalog, not just one page at a time.

What Agents Can Do

  • Audit all product pages for missing or thin meta titles, descriptions, and alt text
  • Optimize product page content to better match how customers search for your products
  • Improve collection page descriptions and headings for both SEO and conversion
  • Identify duplicate content issues across product variants
  • Review and improve blog post content for search visibility
  • Add structured data markup to product pages to enable rich results in Google
  • Surface products with high organic potential that need content improvements

Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations in your Orbitr dashboard
  2. Click Connect next to Shopify
  3. Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com)
  4. A popup will open redirecting you to Shopify's authorization screen
  5. Review the permissions Orbitr is requesting and click Install app
  6. You will be redirected back to Orbitr with your store connected
  7. Orbitr will perform an initial scan of your store content

Required Permissions

Orbitr requests access to read and write specific areas of your Shopify store:

  • Products — read and update product titles, descriptions, metadata, and images
  • Collections — read and update collection titles and descriptions
  • Pages — read and update standalone store pages
  • Blog posts — read and update blog content
  • Themes — read theme structure to understand your store layout

Orbitr only modifies content when you review and approve the changes. No edits are published without your confirmation.
