Troubleshooting
Diagnose onboarding, provider, approval, publishing, verification, and rollback failures without creating duplicate work.
A site will not finish onboarding
Confirm the public URL is reachable and uses the intended canonical hostname. Review the detected platform. If publishing is unsupported, continue with audit-only access rather than selecting a different platform.
Search Console shows no properties
Reconnect the Google account that has access to the property. Confirm Search Console access in Google, then return to Orbitr and reload properties.
Search Console says the property is not linked
Select a property for the active Orbitr site. A property for another domain is intentionally rejected and is not queried.
Google returns an expiry or permission error
Reconnect Google from Integrations. Complete the callback in the same browser session, then reselect the property. Do not reuse a callback URL from an earlier attempt.
No task was created after an audit
An audit finding is evidence, not a task. Strategy may decide the finding is unsupported, duplicate, too broad, stale, or lower priority than existing work. Review the audit and Strategy evidence before rerunning it.
A task is awaiting approval
Open the task detail and verify the URLs and proposed action. Approve only if the scope matches the evidence. A pending approval is not an execution failure.
A task completed but the page did not change
Check the public verification result, provider operation, and task transcript. The provider may have written to a draft, a different resource, or returned an ambiguous success. Do not approve a duplicate task as a retry.
Public verification timed out
Confirm the exact public URL, CDN behavior, and whether the provider published a draft or live version. Retry verification from the existing task after the page is publicly available.
Rollback is unavailable
Rollback requires a supported mutation with a recorded snapshot or provider operation. Audit-only tasks and unsupported external changes do not have an Orbitr rollback artifact.
Contacting support
Include the site ID, task ID, approximate time, integration type, and the visible error. Do not send access tokens, passwords, OAuth codes, or provider secrets.
